How I Met Your Father

Tien Tran is a standup comedian, writer and actress. She is a veteran member of the prestigious Second City’s Mainstage in Chicago. 

She will next be seen in the Hulu series “How I Met Your Father”. Tien was most recently a writer on Showtime’s “Work In Progress” produced by Jax Media. She also recently filmed a special for Comedy Central’s “Stand-Up”. Tien was named one of the 2019 Just For Laughs (JFL) New Faces of Comedy. 

In 2018, she participated in CBS’ Diversity Showcase and became Head Writer for the showcase the following year, and in 2017 she was featured in Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch Chicago Showcase. 

She can be seen in Netflix’s “Space Force” and “EASY”, IFC’s “Sherman’s Showcase” and Pop TV’s “Hot Date”.
