Chef Evan is the perfect pairing of refined meets rugged – an avid backpacker and the Executive Chef of a winery. He’s been cooking for 25 years, currently serving up high-end plates in “the chef’s mecca” of BC’s Okanagan Valley. As a backpacker chef, Evan loves cooking for groups in the backcountry and inspiring them with dishes like escargot in a martini glass 17 miles into the rugged backcountry of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. He laments his physical weakness: “Don’t ask me to bench press any logs.” He loves celebrating the bounties of nature on a fine-dining menu.
